Please read the travel information for your trip and make sure you’ve read these terms and conditions of Dutch Pedelec Tours. When booking a trip, you automatically agree to these.
How can I book a tour?
You can make a reservation request at each tour. We will inform you regarding availability of the tour as soon as possible. Once this is confirmed, you can go ahead and make the final booking.
You can make a reservation online using our booking form or by e-mail. Reservations for rooms and restaurants are made after we receive your reservation. You will receive a booking form and, after you confirmed the booking, the booking confirmation and an invoice within 10 business days. Should you wish to cancel your booking for any reason, please contact us as soon as possible. We advise you to wait until you receive booking confirmation before arranging flights or trains.
If you have specific needs or wishes, please contact us and we will do our best to find a suitable solution.
The travel agreement comes into effect when we have received your booking form per e-mail or post. Bookings can also be made by telephone. Written confirmation of the agreement (the booking) is issued within 10 business days, together with the invoice.
When should I book the tour?
In principle, the sooner the better. Not only because of the availability of the tour, but also because of the availability of seats on flights to the Netherlands.
Is my reservation request without any obligations?
Yes, you can make a reservation request for each tour without any obligations. If there is availability we will immediately notify you (usually within 48 hours) and send you a booking form. Your booking is only confirmed and finalized once you have returned this form.
The Tulip Tour Holland cycling season runs from March until the end of May.
Payment and travel documents
A deposit of € 250 per person is payable within 8 business days after the date of invoice/confirmation. This amount must be paid to Dutch Pedelec Tours, the travel organisation. The balance of the payment due must be paid no less than 6 weeks before the date of arrival. If the agreement comes into effect less than 6 weeks before the date of arrival, then full payment is due within 8 business days. The arrival date is stated on the written confirmation and is the first day of the trip.
You will receive your travel documents 10 business days before your arrival.
Prices give are per person (unless indicated otherwise) and based on two adults sharing a room. One set of travel documentation is provided per two persons. Prices include the services and facilities stated in the publication. The price of your holiday is based on prices, exchange rates, charges and taxes as known to the travel organisation at the time of publication. The amounts stated in these terms and conditions are in euros and include VAT.
Dutch Pedelec Tours aims to show you a unique side of Holland, so accommodation is beautifully situated and has lots of character.
Booking a single room
If you want to book a single room, please indicate this on the booking form. A supplement is applicable – please see the pricing overview for details.
The following is not included in the price of your holiday:
All travel costs to and from destinations
Travel insurance covering baggage and belongings, emergency assistance, medical cover, and cancellation and curtailment
All travel costs during the trip, such as bus/train/taxi costs to and from the departure points, unless stated otherwise
Single room supplement
All personal costs.
Alteration/cancellation by us
There may be occasions when it is necessary to alter itineraries. The itineraries are statements of intention only, do not constitute representations or undertakings that they will be carried out and changes to them will not constitute material alterations. We will notify you of any such alterations as soon as we can and will offer you alternative arrangements of at least equivalent standard. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your holiday or make material alterations we will notify you as soon as possible and offer you the choice of an alternative holiday or a full refund.
If you have to cancel your holiday you must notify us immediately in writing by recorded delivery letter. We will be entitled to charge cancellation charges expressed as a percentage of total holiday price on the following scale, to be calculated from the date on which we receive written notification.

No refund is given should you have to cut short your trip after departure.
Changes to arrangements
If you wish to alter your holiday arrangements we will do our best to accommodate you, subject to availability, upon payment of an administration charge of € 25 per booking, provided such alterations are notified at least 14 days before the date of arrival.
All trips can be extended by booking extra nights. You will receive an estimate of additional costs for this.
Travel documents and information
You will receive your travel documents 10 business days before your date of arrival.
The rental of the Pedelecs is included.
You are personally responsible for any damage to or theft of the rented bicycles. Dutch Pedelec Tours cannot be held responsible for any damages resulting from accidents with rented bicycles.
We expect you to inspect the rental bicycle before departure for damage or defective parts. Once you have accepted the bike, you are held responsible for any visible damage or visibly detectable defective parts that you did not indicate before departure, including brakes, tyres, wheels and gears.
You will receive cycling instructions. On acceptance of the rental bike you confirm that you are familiar with riding a bicycle, changing gears, etc. Helmets are not compulsory in Holland but we do recommend that you wear one.
Damage/theft of rented bicycle
You are personally responsible for damages to or theft of your rented bicycle. Please check whether your travel insurance covers this, as this is not always the case.
On travelling days, your luggage will be transferred from accommodation to accommodation. In general, luggage should be dropped off at reception before 09.00 hrs. Usually, your luggage will arrive at the next accommodation by 16.00 hrs.
En-route support is included in all our trips. After booking you will receive a service number that you can call to request assistance. The technician will drive to your location. If the repair cannot be made on the spot, you will be transferred to the next accommodation, free of charge.
Tip: Book well in advance. Dutch Pedelec Tours offers a selection of exclusive accommodations and restaurants, often with a limited number of rooms. Some locations and restaurants are fully booked very quickly. To avoid disappointment, we advise you to book well in advance.
